Freccia Vino Bianco

Freccia is a blend of Trebbiano (65%), Chardonnay (10%), Sauvignon Blanc (10%), Vermentino (10%) and Moscato (5%) selected in the cooler areas of Tuscany. 2015 was an incredibly cool harvest and we were able to pick the grapes maintaining intense aromas and a nice fresh natural acidity.

The Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc grapes were picked relatively early, between the last week of august and the first one of September, while Trebbiano was harvested in the second half of September.

Once they have been crushed we controlled fermentation development at 55° to maintain the interesting aromatic and complex profile: lemon, peach and beans aromas are complexed with a creamy background given by an accurate work on the fermentation lees (batonage).

Freccia is a great match for seafood and white meats but also a great wine selection for the most structured vegetarian dishes.

Following the Vignemastre philosophy, no wood barrels are used to age this wine and it was bottled in May 2015.
